Rahel graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology and International Relations, and went on to complete her LL.B degree at the same institution in 2025.

During her studies, she was selected as a mentee with the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges and is a Fellow of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation.

Rahel joined Cox Yeats in 2026 as a Candidate Legal Practitioner in the Sandton office, where she is a member of the Business Rescue and Insolvency team.
