Joe graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and Politics, and went on to complete his LL.B degree, cum laude, at the same institution in 2025. He was placed on the Dean’s Merit List in each year of his LL.B studies and was invited to become a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Joe joined Cox Yeats in 2026 as a Candidate Legal Practitioner in the Durban office, where he is a member of Team Maverick (Construction, Commercial, Labour and Litigation).
